Mohan is a popular Kollywood actor. His actual name is Mohan Rao hailing from Udupi district of Karnataka. He derived his name Kokila Mohan by acting in film called Kokila. Mohan is a Popular Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada actor. Mohan is one of the top actors in the history of the Indian Cinema. Mohan was born in Koteshwar and grew up in I.T.I colony he completed his education at Bangalore. His father was a restaurateur who owned restaurants at various places in south of Karnataka and in Bangalore. From 1978 to 1993, the Mohan phenomenon swept the Tamil movie world off its feet and the hysteria he generated was unlike anything seen before and after.
